not to be forgotten…

I capture a lot of families, weddings, babies and toddlers, but not so many young adults and pre-teens. Why is that? This is an age that they will remember and a time that will be  important to these young people some day when they are much older. I just love that these beautiful kids (sorry, Jess…I don’t mean to call you a “kid”! lol) will be able to look back at this time in their life and remember how fun it was to be youthful. Living with Mum & Dad. Hanging out with their siblings. In their home town.

And not a care in the world!

siblings…{sneak peek}

To say these two are photogenic is a gross understatement! Seriously. The best part about all of this is that I get to photograph these guys again at J’s upcoming wedding – I love that his sister is a bridesmaid & that his future wife is stunning (to say the least). Can’t wait.

This year I’ve been inundated with bookings for family sessions and what a fun ride it has been! This was my last family session for the year and it was such a nice way to end a very busy pre-Christmas season. I really enjoy spending time with families and these guys were no exception. I just love how every family is different and the way they interact is uniquely…them!

a bumper {sneak peek} Part I…

I seriously have nothing to say about this family other than…awwwwww! They are gorgeous. In every sense of the word. It was such a pleasure watching them interact with each other. A little teasing here and there and a whole lot of laughter. The littlest member of this family is clearly the apple of their eye – they all just adore him. And it’s no wonder. Look at him! He is adorable.

J + K {sneak peek…}

I photograph a lot of children and weddings, but it’s not often I get the chance to photograph grownups. These lovely girls decided to get together for a session as a gift for their Mum. Not only was it a pleasure hanging out with these two, it was also a reminder of how much I value my sister (who resides in Adelaide) & wish for more time with her. If you’re reading this and can relate…maybe you have a sibling or two or even a close friend…don’t take it for granted. Take a page out of J+K’s book and make sure you have lasting memories to hold onto.
